Behind the Design

The client for this project is the headquarters of a study abroad consulting agency, which serves as a bridge facilitating students' access to education and cultures from more countries. Therefore, the design of this project will emphasize multicultural and international elements, reflecting the brand’s essence and identity.

Throughout the design and construction process, eco-friendly materials were predominantly used, aligning with the brand’s commitment to promoting and practicing low-carbon sustainability. While fulfilling aesthetic and design integrity, the project also ensures a safe and healthy environment for office staff.

In the office area, the original ceiling structure was preserved and reimagined. This approach creates a dialogue between old and new, allowing evolution, renewal, and interconnectedness within the same space — achieving a timeless transformation in the truest sense.

In the reception area, instead of applying conventional putty plaster, eco-friendly mirror-finish panels were directly installed. This not only enhanced visual appeal but also avoided dust pollution during construction.

Sustainability has been a key focus in the design. Both office projects utilized eco-friendly materials, reflecting a commitment to environmental responsibility.

Shaw Contract also steadfastly adheres to health and sustainability principles, using environmentally conscious production materials that align with a people-oriented approach to sustainable development.

The design intent goes beyond merely meeting client requirements—it aims to embody and promote concepts such as sustainability and environmental awareness. Through thoughtful design, we hope to inspire more people to embrace low-carbon practices and sustainable values, encouraging collective action to protect our planet.

Featured Collections

Off the Grid

As our schedules leave little time for reflection, and our digital lives distance us from the world around us, we yearn for the calming power of a soft surface, the visual harmony found in nature, for physical connection. Off the Grid is a deeply textural collection of undulating patterns that mirrors the natural world and forges deeper connections to the world around us.

Floor Architecture

From ceiling to wall to ground floor, we are surrounded by architectural planes of influence. These surrounding spatial elements play together in Floor Architecture. This collection is constructed with nuanced colour and realistic imprints, making a strong design statement on demand.
