Our innovative backing system for the EMEA region, offering enhanced acoustic performance and underfoot comfort. Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze, it is made in the UK from polymer-modified bitumen, laminated with a recycled fibre matrix pad containing 90% post-consumer material and reinforced with a fibreglass layer. ComfortWorx™ provides improved impact sound reduction and sound absorption, while delivering enhanced underfoot comfort compared with standard carpet tile and hard flooring surfaces.

Backing Layers
1. Face Yarn - Ecosolution Q® Fibre - provides long lasting durability and stain resistance.
2. Primary Backing - High-strength primary backing is non-woven and adds dimensional stability to the product.
3. High-Performance Precoat - High-performance precoat provides maximum tuft bind, ensuring all tufts stay in place.
4. Polymer Modified Bitumen - Bonds the carpet to the reinforcement layer.
5. Fibreglass Mesh Reinforcement - Provides dimensional stability.
6. Matrix Pad - 90% post consumer waste recycled cushion is bonded to previous layers, creating underfoot cushioning. This matrix pad allows foracoustic and underfoot comfort.

re[TURN]® Reclamation Programme
We have expanded our re[TURN]® Reclamation Programme in the UK through a partnership with The Salvation Army Trading Company (SATCoL), alongside our partnership with Composil in Europe. At the end of their useful life, ComfortWorx® carpet tiles can be taken back, helping to give them a second life.
